1. What information of yours does IPC collect?

We may collect two types of information from you, (i) anonymous information, and (ii) personally identifiable information.

Anonymous Information.  Anonymous information refers to information that cannot be tied back to a specific individual. Each time a visitor comes to the IPC Site, IPC collects some information to improve the overall quality of the visitor's online experience. IPC collects the visitor's IP address (a number assigned to your computer when you use the Internet) (e.g., whether the user is logged on from a .com, .gov or .edu domain), referral data (e.g., the address of the last URL a user visited prior to clicking a link to the IPC Site), browser and platform type (e.g., Internet Explorer on a Windows XP platform) and your activity while using the IPC Site.  Additionally, in order to personalize and enhance your experience on the IPC Site, we may also collect information through “cookies.”  Cookies are small strings of text that are sent by the IPC Site to your browser and then stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive.  We use cookies to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer the IPC Site.  We may also use cookies to gather broad demographic information and to help identify you in respect to visits to the IPC Site so that we may improve your user experience, and to determine whether you visited the IPC Site from a particular Internet link or advertisement.  A code in the cookie file may enable the IPC Site to label you as a particular user, including identifying you by name, address, or other personally identifiable information.  Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but it is possible to change your browser setup so that it does not accept cookies.  IPC also collects aggregate search terms from referring search services for internal reporting and improving search engine placement.

Personally Identifiable Information.  In addition to this anonymous data, IPC may collect Personally Identifiable Information through online forms located throughout the IPC Site.  Additionally, the IPC Site permits you to contact us via e-mail.  Whenever you send an e-mail via a link on the IPC Site, you will be providing us with your e-mail address and any information you choose to include in the text of your message.  “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to information that tells specifically who you are, such as your name, E-mail address, street mailing address, citizenship and residency status, educational background, work history, curriculum vitae and other biographical information, specialty, and hospital affiliation.

2. How is your information used?

Our use.  Personally Identifiable Information will only be collected to the extent that IPC deems it reasonably necessary to serve legitimate business purposes, including, but not limited to, the following: (i) for purposes of employment considerations, if you are applying for a position with IPC or any of its affiliates, (ii) to correspond with you regarding the IPC Site, services, affiliates and/or subsidiaries; (iii) to provide you with requested information about IPC’s services, or the services of our affiliates and/or subsidiaries; (iv) to inform you of developments in our company or with our services that we believe may be of interest to you; (v) to monitor IPC Site visitor traffic patterns and IPC Site usage; (vi) to comply with applicable laws; (vii) to enforce our Terms of Use; and (viii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of IPC, our users, and others.

Sharing information.  We do not sell or rent your Personally Identifiable Information to third parties.  We share your information only with our affiliates and subsidiaries to provide you with information about our services and/or in the context of employment considerations, if you are applying for a position with IPC or any of its affiliates.  Also, we may share in aggregate, statistical form, non-personal information regarding the visitors to the IPC Site, traffic patterns, and IPC Site usage with our partners, affiliates or advertisers.  In addition, we will disclose information we obtain, including Personally Identifiable Information, when required to do so by law, or may disclose such information in response to a request from a law enforcement agency or authority.

3. How do we collect information from you?

We collect, retain and use Personally Identifiable Information from you via the IPC Site by expressly requesting it from you through online forms throughout the IPC Site, as well as through e-mails sent to us by you via the IPC Site.  You may change information that you supplied to IPC at any time by emailing us at information@ipcm.com.

4. How can you access, edit or delete your information?

Procedures have been developed through which customers and prospects can, upon request, review and correct the Personally Identifiable Information that has been collected from them by IPC. These procedures may not, however, compromise the security, integrity and privacy of either IPC's own proprietary databases or databases licensed from third party companies.  For more information about these procedures, you may send an e-mail to information@ipcm.com or contact us via telephone at 888-447-2362.

5. Is My Personal Information Secure?

8. Acceptance of these terms.

9. Effectiveness of this Privacy Statement.

This Privacy Statement is effective as of January 22, 2008.  We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update this statement, and any such modifications, alterations, or updates will be effective upon posting.  In the event we modify this Privacy Statement, your continued use of the IPC Site will signify your acceptance of any such changes.
