The Chicago market was established in March 1999. Our current practices are principally located in the suburbs around Chicago, with most of our growth occurring west and north of the city. With the growing popularity of the hospitalist movement, we are exploring new opportunities in communities outside of Chicago in central and northern Illinois. Additionally, hospitals within Chicago are beginning to look to hospitalists as a solution to their inpatient needs.

Rene is an eight-year veteran of the IPC management team. As Executive Director for the Chicago and New England regions, Rene directs IPC Hospitalists who provide inpatient care in various practices around the greater Chicago area, as well as heading our recent expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
